Hi! I'm Nanda,
Through my art, I want to make viewers conscious of the uncomfortable feeling of emotions, making them feel drawn to accept the true feelings that my work creates. While expressing my attraction towards the sea and sky, I aim to impact the way life and emotion collide in everyone's day-to-day.
My artistic practice is about the raw act of expression, showcasing a variety of seascapes created with authenticity. I look to evoke feelings in the viewer, this is why my work seeks to mirror the complexity of human emotions.
I work primarily with oil on canvas, but my art might also include acrylics, graphite, printmaking, and mixed media. I want to stay true to myself while being free to change my subject or media, but I will always be inspired by what people say or do and be conscious of what creates emotion to find a way to communicate it.
As an artist, my mission is not only to express emotion, but to create it.
